Jeon is 25 this year, but had been in the film industry for more than 10 years. Over these past 10 years, Jeon had made tremendous improvements in her acting and is now one of the top money making asian actress. She also starred in many product comercials from ice creams to a gas company. Some of her most famous product endorsments include: Besti Belli, Giordano, Laneige, myJet, 2% water, 17 tea, vigott, VK mobile, SK telecom, Elastine, etc. One of her famous CFs was for a company called OKcash bag, where she shows her cuteness by playing around with hamburgers and Ice Cream. Jeon's Olympus CFs was also extremely successful and the company filmed her commercials on 3 consecutive seasons: winter, spring, and autumn. Jeon Ji Hyun could absolutely be considered a Korean CF Queen. She also won a vote having the "Best Behind in Asia", polling 41% beating Lee Hyori by 11%. Recently, Ji-Hyun flew to the US (somewhere in LA) on the 27th of September to improve her English, since she might star in one of hollywood films in the near future.

Jeon Ji Hyun's success sky rocketed in the year 2001, when she starred in "My Sassy Girl", which was based on a popular internet-serial "Yupki Girl". The film became the second-highest grossing film for 2001 and and had earned a place in the record books as the highest grossing Korean comedy in the country's box office history. "My Sassy Girl" brought Jeon to the top of Korean actresses and many people still remember her "sassy" personality from this movie. Many people know Jeon Ji Hyun from this movie and when you think of a "sassy girl" Jeon should be the first to anyone's mine. The film was also extremely successful in other countries such as Hong Kong, China, Japan, Singapore, and Thailand. Later in 2004, Ji-Hyun starred in romantic comedy movie 'Windstruck' (내 여자친구를 소개합니다), which reunited her with the young director, Kwak Jae-young (director of My Sassy Girl). The film did well in the box office, but many say that the movie is too much similar to "My Sassy Girl", and Jeon should try a different role instead of her sassy, cute, and aggressive personality.

Jeon's recent role is between a love triangle in 'Daisy' (데이지), starring Jung Woo-sung and Lee Sung-jae. Hong Kong director Andrew Lau is behind this project along with Kwak Jae-young who wrote the screenplay. "Daisy" was released in Spring 2006. Jeon plays a street artist who recieves daisies from an anonymous man everyday at 4 p.m. She then mistakenly loves the wrong man, because the real daisy sender is a killer who needs to hide his identity. The film didn't do well for the box office, but it is a great film to watch if you're a fan of Jeon Ji Hyun.
